Sunday 20th May 10.45 Annual Dedication Sunday. The congregation comes together and renews their commitment to Christ for the coming year
2.00 - 6.00 Lower Clapton Open Gardens in aid of cancer charities. The manse garden at 16 Powerscroft Road will be open as one of four Clapton Park gardens. Entrance £5 for all four. Teas at the manse.
Saturday 2nd June Quiet Garden opening: . You are invited to come to the manse garden for quiet, meditation and prayer. 10.00 coffee and croissants; 10.30 - 12.30 time for quiet.
Sunday 3rd June Queens Jubilee: celebrate the Round Chapel way - come and join 'Urban Table' our meal for homeless and vulnerable people, on Sunday 3rd June at 3.00. Come at 1.00 to help prepare.

  • Easter Prayer Easter Sunday 8th April... ‘Mary, in the garden weeping, asks the one she thinks to be the gardener where the body of Jesus lies. Jesus looks at her and says ‘Mary’ and sends her back to the disciples to tell of what she has seen.’ John 20. 11 - 18... Risen Christ, you come in the quiet of the garden. You call the weeping Mary by name. You still her sorrow and send her back to her friends. There is no blast of trumpets, no shouting of the crowds.
